MAISPACE
MAISPACE, winner of a 2002 “Best of NeoCon” award, is the revolutionary system for tiles and frames! Non-surpassed in its quality, flexibility in features, and cost effectiveness is MAISPACE.
Overview
MAISPACE frames are made of 16-gauge cold-rolled steel, while the panel tiles are constructed of 20-gauge steel. Both are designed for strength and uniformity. Stackable frames have the capability and flexibility for changing configurations in setup, even floor to ceiling systems, allowing privacy in sound and sight where needed. Workspaces, overhead bins, dividing panels and flat work surfaces are movable as well.
Cable runs are carefully designed behind removable panel tiles, which in itself conforms to the industry’s highest Sound Transmission Class (STC).
Off-Modular Design
MAISPACE on/off modular designs are cost and space efficient.
As an example, to support an up- to- 8-foot wide frame, the system only requires two horizontal frames together with two vertical frames. Yet any additional frames can be placed/removed with ease and without disturbing neighboring structures. Another benefit is the move ability and simplicity of the horizontal frame design, which cuts down in setup cost and in number of frames required.
Components can be installed vertically on 1-inch centers or laterally on the frames, using off modular brackets, made to fit the spaces between tiles.
Power and Cable Management
The MAISPACE power distribution system comes in 3 + 1, 2 + 2, or 3/3/2 configurations, to meet almost all building power options.
The power cables are run separately from data and voice cables. The plug & play cabling conforms to industry standards and allows for changes to be made without interrupting the main LAN.
Structural Frames
A MAISPACE panel construction was tested for 2.5 tons by Underwriters Laboratories. The tested panel consisted of 8-foot frames stacked to 10 feet in height, supported by 2 verticals. Counterbalancing was found not necessary with MAISPACE.
Panel frames are stackable, and are load bearing to be able to create walls 30 inches to 10 feet height. Without disturbing any voice, data or power cables, frames can be added or removed.
Tiles
MAISPACE tiles are revolutionary in design, efficient due to ease in removal for quick access to lay-in cable management.
Aesthetically pleasing and being functional at the same time makes it an excellent choice for modern and elegant corporate offices.
The tile choices include fabric, tackable and acoustical, embossed steel, painted steel, airflow, stainless steel, paper management, power and data, marker board, veneer, laminate, Coverseal™, and clear, frosted, horizontal and square patterned glass.
Ergonomic Worksurfaces
The ergonomic aspect shows in the cascading edge, which conforms to the user’s forearm, offering comfort and less fatigue.
Thermoformed membrane technology also produces non-sectional, seamless, one-piece tops and edges.
