COMFORT + STYLE
NBI has worked for over 10 years with a nation-wide company that has as its goal to have a center in every city of any size in the country. NBI has already furnished over 250 centers all across the country for them. This client required a company standard that would be applicable to any center in the country, whether in a rural area or urban setting.
We interviewed our client’s managers, agents and supervisors to get as much input as possible before designing the station. Once we had our surveys completed, we began the design of the optimal office. We worked closely with our client on an overall work environment theme, incorporating the selection of colors, fabrics and finishes to create the look and feel they envisioned
NBI worked closely with the Facilities Department over several months to design several options, utilizing various design elements and color schemes to reach a comfort level of forward-looking design. Current design trends were viewed also by upper management to see if any of them were applicable. NBI was able to assist in exposing their client to ideas that had not traditionally been applied to clinics. The resulting design allowed a more collaborative environment within the administrative and management departments, with a more inclusive feel.

This company, being large, has numerous designers and requesters, and we make a point to understand how each team member likes to operate, everyone having different methods and ways of doing things. We try to get this understanding right away, as making the process run smoothly is our ultimate goal. Our aim is to make each team member comfortable, and to make asking questions or making requests as easy as possible. We always let the designers know that anything they can conceive of, we can make.
With our line-up of local fabricators, we can design and produce custom sizes and shapes at non-custom prices! They are continually amazed at our flexibility at being able to make just about anything at a very reasonable cost.

We proposed several options in different price ranges, and brought out chair samples for them to use in their actual work environment. Worker safety and comfort is always uppermost in our planning and implementation, and the elimination of any worker comp claims is our watchword. Any chair we recommend must have a wide and sturdy enough base to avoid tipping; the main cause of claims.
We stock locally the furniture they use so it is always readily available for them within days of ordering. It is high-quality, super durable, and available in multiple finishes. At a very competitive price-point, the ongoing work is well-within their budget.
